Did you get your #Giving Tuesday/Brown Envelope fundraising flyer in your child’s backpack? Or perhaps you saw PGO leaders Eugenia and Chris doing a honk and wave at the school about the fundraiser last Monday? Maybe you received the email appeal we sent out.
One way or another, we’ve been trying to ask you to donate generously to the Wildwood PGO as we’ve launched the first of our two major fundraisers for the year. Our goal is to raise $3,000 in conjunction with #Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving on Tuesday, December 3.
To donate, put cash or a check made out to the Wildwood PGO in the brown envelope and return it to school. You can also donate online by visiting www.wildwoodpgo.com.
Wildwood PGO funds the Wildwood yearbook and the parent directory every year. We support curriculum such as the science and nature field trips that our youngest students take to the Hitchcock Center. We sponsor visiting author appearances at the Wildwood library. Best of all, we’ve launched a mini-grant program this year for teachers to try new things are make their current curriculum better. We’ve funded half a dozen mini-grants so far, and we are just 3 months into the school year so far.
So please give what you can. If that’s $5, that’s a field trip for a student. If that’s $200, that’s a mini-grant for a teacher. Collectively, we can make a big difference. Visit www.wildwoodpgo.com to donate.
