Valley Gives Day will be May 3, 2016. It is a 24-hour event to promote philanthropic giving in the Pioneer Valley. Please consider supporting WILDWOOD, an organization that supports your child, you and our community: http://bit.ly/wildwoodgives
The Wildwood Parent Guardian Organization builds school community and supports the school through events held throughout the year and fundraising, which is limited to a few times a year. Valley Gives Day is one of those critical times. In an effort to honor our commitment to equity, we’ve eliminated several fundraisers and we look to Valley Gives Day to make up the difference.
How does a PGO build community? Through Welcome Back Breakfasts for Staff, First Day Coffees for parents, a strong Class Parent network to link families with classroom teachers. Through a School Directory, provided free to all families. Through beautiful Yearbooks with color photos. A free Book Swap and Winter Clothing Share, Walk to School Day and a fantastic Multicultural Fair all help to make connections to the school and to each other.
Did you attend Math Night, Mad Science or Movie Night?
… please consider making a donation.
How does a PGO support equity and enrichment? The funds we raise provide rich curriculum enhancing opportunities for our children, and support our staff with mini-grants. Last year, we ensured every child went on every field trip, we funded the Library (~350 books!), Art, clubs, and much more.
Our goal is modest $500. Every dollar counts! Thank you for your support!
