Big Brothers/Sisters 5th Annual Daffodil Fun Run, 4/26

The Daffodil Fun Run is a 5K Run/Walk during the last weekend in April, and is a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together while racing past the thousands of Daffodils that were planted last year in celebration of the town of Amherst’s 250th Anniversary. All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County, a program of the Center for Human Development, and make a BIG difference for children in Hampshire County.

The Daffodil Fun Run has three main goals:
1) To raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County
2) To raise awareness of the many young people facing adversity in our community and the significant impact a mentor can have in his or her life; and
3) To bring the community together to welcome the spring and celebrate Daffodil Days in Amherst!

**A special person, such as a “big brother” or “big sister” can often be the one factor that can change the destiny of a child’s life, providing the resources and encouragement to become a productive and healthy adult.
