Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair, an internationally recognized clinical psychologist, will lecture about her book, The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age. Dr. Steiner-Adair will be talking about ways in which technology and media are impacting children at every stage of development, while challenging what it means to be a family. This lecture will be of interest to parents, educators, college students, and those interested in understanding how chronic technological distractions are shaping how we learn, teach, and relate to each other.
