In celebration of Computer Science Education Week, try an Hour of Code during December 8-14, 2014! Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics.
At Wildwood, Mr. T reports that, “All students finished Hour of Code last week while 5th and 6th did it once a month ago.” He started early. Ask your child about it.
Hour of Code tutorials work on PCs, smartphones, tablets, and some require no computer at all! There is even a tutorial featuring Anna and Elsa from Frozen.
