This fall, families with children aged 4 to 7 who have difficulties with hyperactivity are invited to participate in a UMass Amherst research opportunity and parent training program. The study will explore how hyperactive young children’s brains process emotion. Parents of participants will be asked to do a 20-minute phone interview, and then go with their child to the lab for one 1.5 hour session.
All families will be provided $20 for their participation, and if interested, attend a 4-session parent training program at no charge. These sessions will be held at the UMass Psychological Services Center. For further info contact Claudia Lugo at (413) 349-9881 or via e-mail at email@example.com.
